COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. The College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will host a science and engineering open house from 1-6 p.m. Nov. 17 in University Center room 116.
The event will give current students, prospective students and local business leaders an opportunity to see ongoing research projects conducted by faculty members in the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Faculty will conduct lab tours, provide lectures and will demonstrate the active roles of students in scientific research.
UCCS offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and certificates in various areas including biology, biochemistry/biotechnology, chemistry, physics, mechanical and electrical engineering, aerospace engineering and computer science.
The open house will be from 1-6 p.m. Nov. 17 in the University Center,. Free parking is available in lot 3 after 4:30 p.m. Visitors prior to 4:30 p.m. can obtain free parking by calling 262-4552.
