COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Where can you travel around the world in 60 minutes, learn about our economy and quality of life in Colorado Springs and jam to the sounds of a live band with professors at every instrument?
The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will host the fourth annual Fall Fest beginning at 9 a.m. Oct. 4 in the University Center with activities continuing throughout the day.
Events include a breakfast with Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak, a lecture series sponsored by the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and campus tours. In conjunction with the Pikes Peak Library’s All Pikes Peak Read program and events, a special panel discussion and TheatreWorks performance of Frankenstein will also be offered. Kids can make sand candles and stuffed animals, take home a caricature or get a tattoo airbrushed, that is while parents explore all the university has to offer.
The free event is a chance for community members, alumni, parents and students to discover why CU-Colorado Springs is the fastest-growing university in the state.

CU-Colorado Springs, located on Austin Bluffs Parkway in northeast Colorado Springs, is the fastest growing university in Colorado and one of the fastest growing universities in the nation. The university offers 25 bachelor’s degrees, 17 master’s and two doctoral degrees. The campus enrolls more than 7,600 students annually.
