Individuals interested in additional education in preparation for career change or advancement are encouraged to attend an open house for graduate studies at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Nov. 15.
From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the University Center, program representatives from UCCS colleges will be available to answer questions about admission requirements, application for admission, and specific programs.
The event is free. Parking is available in Lots 3 & 4 for no charge between 5 and 7:30 p.m.
UCCS offers 18 master’s degrees and four doctoral degrees from its six colleges, the College of Business and Administration, College of Engineering and Applied Science, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, College of Education, School of Public Affairs and the Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Graduate studies are for individuals who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are interested in additional studies in that field or new learning, often in preparation for career change or advancement. Most of the approximately 1,500 UCCS graduate students attend classes part-time. The average age of UCCS graduate students is 34 years old.
