COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. A specific session providing in-depth analysis of El Paso County real estate trends will be part of the Ninth Annual Southern Colorado Economic Forum Nov. 3.
The Southern Colorado Economic Forum, presented by the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and its College of Business and Administration, will be from 7:30 a.m. until noon Nov. 3 at the Antlers Hilton Hotel, 4 South Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs.
Paul Tiffany, an adjunct professor at University of California, Berkeley, and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, will provide a national perspective on economic trends. Beginning at 8 a.m. Tom Zwirlein, director, Southern Colorado Economic Forum, will moderate the main forum, highlighting what business leaders can expect for the coming year for the southern Colorado economy. Zwirlein and Fred Crowley, senior economist, Southern Colorado Economic Forum, track a series of economic and quality of life indicators throughout the year. They will provide forecasts for the coming 12 months regarding employment, wages, retail trade, construction and other trends. Crowley and Zwirlein will be joined on the panel by Doug Stimple, chief executive officer, Elite Properties of America, and Craig Anderson, senior vice president, TrammellCrow Company.
At 10 a.m., Crowley will lead “Real Estate Trends in El Paso County,” offering an in-depth analysis of the local real estate market and identification of emerging trends.
