COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will host the first annual Graduate and Professional School Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 22 on the UCCS campus.
The fair is designed to give prospective graduate students the opportunity to explore a variety of options for continuing their education.
“One of the most difficult things for students wishing to attend graduate or professional school after their undergraduate degree is getting information on what is available,” Tom Huber, dean, Graduate School said. “The Graduate and Professional School Fair is meant to get students started in their search for the best program fit at the graduate level.”
Participating universities include Adams State College, Alamosa, Ave Maria School of Law, Ann Arbor, Mich., Bastyr University, Bothell, W.A., Colorado Christian University, Lakewood, Colorado College, Colorado Springs, Colorado Technical University, DeVry University, Jones International University, Centennial, Newman University, New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, N.M., Regis University, Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena, T.X., Troy University, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, University of Denver Sturm College of Law, University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, University of Phoenix, University of Wyoming Colleges of Law and Business, Laramie, and Webster University.
Free and open to the public, the fair will be in the University Center gymnasium and atrium from 11 a.m. 4 p.m. Visitor parking is available in the visitor parking lot for $1.50 per hour. Visitors may also ride the shuttle from Four Diamonds Sports Complex for .25 each way. The shuttle is free to those with UCCS student identification.
