COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.– The CU Trauma Center, in conjunction with the Snowriders Club at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, will host a “Ski Swap” event Oct. 15-17 on the CU-Colorado Springs campus.
The event will be at the University Center in the heart of the campus and will be open to members of the campus and greater Colorado Springs community interested in selling or finding quality used ski and snowboard equipment.
A tax-deductible donation of 15 percent of the sale price will go to the CU-Trauma Studies & Resource Center. The CU Trauma Center is a comprehensive center focusing on research, intervention, and education around trauma. For more information, visit http://web.uccs.edu/cutrauma.
Plans call for individuals to bring equipment to the University Center Room 116 on Oct. 15 between 2:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. On Oct. 16, between 8:00 a.m. and 6 p.m., the equipment will be available for sale. Unsold items must be collected Oct. 17 between noon and l 5 p.m. Remaining items will be considered donated to the CU-Trauma Studies and Resource Center. Parking will be available during the event times.
