University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak issued the following statement today, June 8, in response to the death of UCCS student Anthony Bubick, a Colorado Springs senior who was studying anthropology at the university and who worked as a student employee with Theatreworks. He died June 2 following complications from heart surgery, according to his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of the university community, I want to express my sorrow upon learning of the death of Anthony Bubick and to offer the university\u2019s condolences to his family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
Services are planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Shrine of Remembrance \u201cAmerica the Beautiful\u201d Chapel of Roses, 1730 E.
