COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO Several area community leaders were recently named to the Chancellor’s Leadership Class community board at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. <\/p>\n
The new CLC Community Board members are:<\/p>\n
Meghan Diderrich, program assistant, Troops to Teachers, a CU-Colorado Springs based program that assists military personnel who interested in teaching as a second career.<\/p>\n
Edward Gleason, attorney, Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP.<\/p>\n
Jim Henderson, vice chancellor, Student Success, CU-Colorado Springs.<\/p>\n
Mark Herrick, local retail\/new business advertising account executive, The Gazette.<\/p>\n
David Hyatt, vice president and partner, DeCotiisErhard, Inc., a local management consulting firm\t<\/p>\n
Marta Erhard, co-founder and partner, DeCottisErhard, Inc., will serve as board chair.<\/p>\n
The 17-member board helps identify leadership opportunities for students enrolled in the Chancellor’s Leadership Class, a highly selective, four-year leadership program. The board mission is to identify opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community involvement for students. Each student receives a $3,500 annual scholarship.<\/p>\n
CU-Colorado Springs, located on Austin Bluffs Parkway in northeast Colorado Springs, is the fastest growing university in Colorado and one of the fastest growing universities in the nation.
