COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO Nine community leaders were recently selected to join the community board of the Chancellor’s Leadership Class (CLC), an undergraduate leadership development program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
The new board members were recognized Oct. 28 at an annual community reception where community leaders learned more about the program and interacted with the 41 scholars in the class.
The Community Board provides quality leadership experiences for students, builds community awareness of the program, and raises scholarship dollars. Mary Ellen McNally, Colorado Springs, chairs the 20 person board.

CLC Scholars participate in rigorous academic and experiential learning with the goal of developing their leadership potential while learning the value of community service. CLC is a member of the Colorado Leadership Alliance, a consortium of seven Colorado universities who collaborate to offer enriched leadership programming and opportunities for students to interact across the state.
