COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO Six community leaders recently joined the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Chancellor’s Leadership Class Community Board.

The sixteen-member board helps identify leadership opportunities for students enrolled in the Chancellor’s Leadership Class, a highly selective, four-year leadership program that helps students develop leadership skills, engages students in meaningful community service, and fosters student interaction with community leaders. Each student receives a $3,500 annual scholarship.

The new CLC Community Board members are:

Evelyn Hernandez Sullivan, magistrate, El Paso County Judicial Court

C.J. Moore, public affairs director, Kaiser Permanente

Bill Smith, site communications and public relations manager, Agilent Technologies

Andy Song, broker, Kosmos Realty

Gary Winegar, chief financial officer, Griffis Blessing, Inc.

CU-Colorado Springs, located on Austin Bluffs Parkway in northeast Colorado Springs, is the fastest growing university in Colorado and one of the fastest growing universities in the nation. The university offers 25 bachelor’s degrees, 17 master’s and two doctoral degrees. The campus enrolls about 7,000 students annually.
