On behalf of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs campus community, UCCS Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak issued the following statement regarding the death of Stephan Wilson, 32, from Colorado Springs.
“I offer condolences to Stephan’s family, friends, and fellow students,” Shockley-Zalabak said. “We are shocked and saddened. I encourage anyone with information to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department.”
Wilson, a 1995 Rampart High School graduate who first enrolled at UCCS for the summer 2008 semester, was a part-time sophomore-level economics major. He died Friday at his Rockrimmon-area condominium. His death is being investigated as a homicide by the Colorado Springs Police Department. Anyone with information about Wilson’s death is encouraged to contact the CSPD, 444-7000.
