Five faculty members from the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Zona Centro, Mexico will visit the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs July 19 – Aug. 1 to study teaching English as a second language.
The faculty members will participate in the first two-week study and culture sessions at UCCS, part of a Linguistically Diverse Education Program in the College of Education’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction. The college offers a 12-credit Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language Certificate.

The UCCS College of Education is accredited by the National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education. In 2008, the college received the highest level accreditation possible.
