STATEMENT BY CHANCELLOR ON DEATH OF UCCS STUDENT ANTHONY BUBICK

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak issued the following statement today, June 8, in response to the death of UCCS student Anthony Bubick, a Colorado Springs senior who was studying anthropology at the university and who worked as a student employee with Theatreworks. He died June 2 following complications from heart surgery, according to his family.

“On behalf of the university community, I want to express my sorrow upon learning of the death of Anthony Bubick and to offer the university’s condolences to his family and friends.”
