BOULDER University of Colorado President Hank Brown, who became president of the three-campus CU System on Aug. 1, will visit with Colorado Springs business and community leaders and CU alumni during a Mon., Aug. 22 visit to the city. President Brown will be joined by CU Regent Jerry Rutledge and University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak.
While in Colorado Springs, Brown will attend a Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Antlers Hilton Hotel, visit with UCCS campus administrators and meet with CU alumni and supporters of the university during a “CU at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo” reception. President Brown and Chancellor Shockley-Zalabak will make remarks at the reception.
Brown has begun to meet with CU alumni and supporters of the university throughout the state to thank them for their support and to seek input on how CU can succeed in the future.
CU alumni and supporters are welcome to attend the reception. Reservations are required and the deadline is Fri., Aug. 19.
