COLORADO SPRINGS – University of Colorado Colorado Springs Chancellor Venkat Reddy today named two finalists for vice chancellor for administration and finance. They will visit campus the week of Dec. 4.
- Joseph “Joe” Grasso, associate dean for finance, administration and corporate relations, School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
- Charles “Chuck” Litchfield, associate vice provost for finance and administration of undergraduate education at Stanford University.

“The search committee, chaired by Provost Tom Christiansen, has done an excellent job bringing forward two strong candidates for this critical position in an accelerated timeline,” Reddy said. “I’m looking forward to active participation and feedback from faculty, staff, and students during the candidates’ visits.”
The vice chancellor for administration and finance serves as the institution’s Chief Financial Officer. The person will replace Susan Szpyrka, who will retire effective Dec. 31 after almost 34 years of university service.
The university community will have an opportunity to provide feedback after each campus visit. Reddy said he expects to name the vice chancellor in the coming weeks.
