Media Advisory: UCCS to celebrate Halloween early with Boozar and Trick-or-Treating

Who:   UCCS student-athletes and the Department of Residence Life will provide family-friendly Halloween events.

What: Members of the UCCS Volleyball Team will dress as princesses and members of the UCCS Softball Team as football players as part of “Boozar,” an event that features candy and games for kids. The Department of Residence Life will escort trick or treaters through campus residence halls. Students have decorated the halls and their rooms.

 When: Thursday, Oct. 27

Trick or Treat: 5 p.m. -6:30 p.m.

Boozar: 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Where: Trick-or-Treat: Kettle Creek Room, Roaring Fork Dining Hall (RFDH)

Boozar: Gallogly Events Center (GEC)

Why:   The family-friendly events are designed to encourage participation by families who live near the campus as a way of thanking them for their support of UCCS throughout the year and to show the university as a community resource.
